Waitlist privacy notice

This notice covers the Batch waitlist on this website. The Batch team ("Batch", "we") runs it. The Batch app has its own privacy policy, which you will see before you create an account.

What we collect

• Your first name and e-mail address.
• Your gender, who you are interested in, your age, and whether you study (and where) or work.
• The invite link you joined through, if any, and which post or group sent you here.
• A scrambled, one-way code made from your internet address, used only to stop one machine flooding the list. We never keep the address itself.

Why

A batch only works when it has enough people at the same stage of life. We use these details to see when a batch can start, to invite you to it, and to e-mail you about the launch. We do not sell them, and we do not use them for advertising.

Who can see them

Only the Batch team. The details are stored with our database provider, Supabase, which processes them for us.

How long we keep them

While the waitlist runs. We delete them twelve months after the app launches, or sooner if you ask.

Your choices

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Write to our data protection officer at hellobatchsg@gmail.com.
